State Representative Michael Jackson has served District 61 for the past 8 years. He and his wife, Stephanie Jackson, have two children, Nia and Camryn. The son of Reverend and Mrs. Morris Jackson, Jr., Michael serves as a Deacon at Little Zion Baptist Church and has also served his country in the Army National Guard. Michael is a founding partner in the Jackson Bell Law Firm. In the legislature, Michael has worked hard to fund important projects in his district including the new Capitol City Family Health Center facility on Florida Boulevard and the renovation of Gus Young Park/Howell Park which will begin next year. The voters of District 61 showed their collective approval of Michael’s ability by electing him to a third term in office with a landslide victory.
